Ordering your Viceroy Home is Simple

The natural starting point in defining a home that is right for you is the Viceroy catalogue. Our bestselling catalogue offers a wide range of architectural styles incorporating many design trends and concepts that appeal to homeowners.

Feeling inspired and excited after looking at our best-selling catalogue or after visiting one of our Viceroy homes? If so, we can walk you through the steps needed to get you into your own Viceroy home.

Choosing a plan for your home is the first step. This is followed by architectural drawings, price quotations, and the building permits that launch your building project into gear. A custom home is a personal expression of your vision and lifestyle requirements, and you need an architectural design partner to help bring this vision to life. This is our specialty.

Your next step is to consult with your Viceroy Sales Representative or Independent Distributor. Our knowledge and expertise can help create a custom home for your family in the most effective and cost-efficient way.

Ordering Your Home*

When you are ready to order your Viceroy home, your Sales Representative or Independent Distributor will prepare a preliminary contract outlining the Viceroy standard specifications and Terms and Conditions. This Preliminary Contract can be based upon one of our stock models or altered to reflect your choice of model, options and extras etc. By completing the Preliminary Contract, and providing the initial deposit, you have taken the first step towards building the dream home you’ve always wanted.

Concept and Final Architectural Drawings*

The key to defining your dream home is to have it drawn. To begin the drafting process it is necessary to bring your deposit up to 20 percent of your contract’s value.

Based on your requirements, a Preliminary Concept (PC) plan will be prepared. Although deemed a preliminary plan, it is intended to be an accurate reflection of all of your design needs. You will then have the opportunity to review the drawings to ensure that they accurately reflect your understanding of the design of your new home.

It is a valuable exercise to take some time to do a mental “plan walk-through” to make sure you are happy with the plan layout and functionality. Once this has been completed and approved we will proceed with your final architectural plans.

These final architectural drawings are the plans that you need to apply for your building permit and the beginning of the construction phase.

Putting Your Plan Into Production*

Congratulations! You have a home design that works for you and your family. Now it’s time to put your final architectural drawings into the Viceroy Production Process. As you might expect, we have carefully systematized the production of your home to ensure you receive a high quality home package that will soon become a beautiful custom home.

At this point a 33% Production deposit will allow us to schedule the manufacture of your home.
